All sales are final and we do not offer refunds. As a courtesy, we offer store credit on eligible returns requested within 7 days of delivery, less a $20 return fee. Hair must be unopened, unworn, unwashed, unaltered and smoke-free. Read the full Returns policy.

No. Store credit does not expire and cannot be redeemed for cash.

Smoke from cigarettes, cigars, vapes and hookah absorbs into hair and is very difficult to remove. Because hair is a personal product, we can only accept hair that is free of smoke and other odors. Every return is inspected when it arrives.

Unworn wigs in their original packaging, with the lace uncut and tags intact, can be returned for store credit within 7 days of delivery. Wigs that have been altered in any way, including worn, washed, styled, cut (including cutting the lace), colored, bleached or installed, cannot be returned, and custom colored and custom cut wigs are final sale. The customer covers return shipping and shipping insurance. We recommend a tracked, insured service so your hair makes it back to us safely. Because a return is in the customer's care until it reaches us, HighLife is not responsible for returns that are lost, stolen or damaged in transit.

Yes. Our hair is 100% raw, unprocessed human hair, single donor with the cuticle intact, so it stays soft, full and tangle-free.

With proper care, our hair lasts at least 5 years. Our 613 Blonde Bombshell hair lasts up to 3 years with proper care.

How many bundles you need depends on the length and the look you want. For a full head of straight or body wave hair, use this guide:

Curly bundles are fuller, so you can use 3 bundles on 26" - 30" and still achieve a full look. Four bundles is a very full look for straight and body wave. Each bundle is 3.5 - 4 oz. Pair your bundles with a closure or frontal to complete the look. Length is measured from root to tip when the hair is straightened, and curly textures appear shorter because of natural shrinkage.

Yes. Our tape-ins can be reused for 3 or more years. Only the tape needs to be replaced.

Yes. Our 1B bundles can be lifted all the way to 613 blonde, and our 613 Blonde Bombshell hair can be toned to any color you love, like honey, champagne, rose gold, silver or gray. For any coloring, get it professionally done and ask your stylist to do a strand test first. Coloring, perming or bleaching is done at your own risk, and we do not guarantee any hair that has been chemically altered. Once hair has been colored, it cannot be returned.

We tested our hair for three years before we opened, because you have to know what you're selling before you sell it. Today, 13 years later, every piece is hand-inspected three times: once before it ships to our Texas facility, again when it arrives, and a final time before your order ships to you. We have a 5 star Google rating.

Density describes how full a wig is. The higher the number, the fuller the hair.

The 5x5 is the size of the lace area at the part, 5 inches by 5 inches. HD lace is ultra-thin and melts into your skin tone for a clean, undetectable part.

For 13 years, we have carried one wig cap size: small. It fits about 90% of our clients. It is too big for about 9%, and about 1% need a larger cap. See our Size Guide, or call or email us before you order and we will help.

No. Our wigs are glueless-friendly and beginner approved, so you can put them on yourself. You are always welcome to have a stylist install one if you prefer.

Yes. Some of our wigs, like The Monaco, are custom colored and custom cut. Custom wigs are final sale.

Keep your hair clean and moisturized. Co-wash once a week with a moisturizing conditioner (washing with conditioner only), and use a moisturizing shampoo monthly or as needed to remove dirt or buildup. Deep condition monthly, leaving the conditioner in for 20 to 30 minutes under a plastic cap. Do not skip co-washing and deep conditioning, because dry hair tangles. Sleep with a satin bonnet or on a satin pillowcase, and never cut the wefts.

Yes, but the more heat you use, the shorter the life of your hair, so use as little as possible. Keep your tools between 250°F and 300°F for regular styling, use 300°F to 350°F only for a stubborn section or a single pass with a heat protectant, and never go above 400°F. For blonde or lightened hair, stay between 250°F and 275°F. Make sure your hair is clean, with no sweat or hairspray on it, before you apply heat.

No. Our hair is 100% raw hair with the cuticle intact, so it has its own natural luster. Oil will only weigh your hair down, making it look greasy, and it can lead to tangling.

Mix 1 part moisturizing conditioner with 4 parts water in a spray bottle. Shake well when you first make it to remove any clumps, then mist your hair as needed or desired. Never brush curly hair. Comb through it with your fingers or a wide-tooth comb, starting from the ends and working your way up.

Our hair will not tangle on its own. It tangles for one of these reasons: heat or chemical damage, being dirty, being dry, or product buildup. Because the hair is not connected to your scalp, it does not receive natural sebum, so you must moisturize it. Sweat also contains salt, which dries out the hair and makes it tangle. If you sweat at your neck, you may need to wash your hair more often.
